In 2022 I got back into using Last.fm, something that was a staple for me growing up. I wanted to explore a music app that was more recommendation based and friend activity focused than the existing ways this is often buried in music apps today. I also wanted to use this as an opportunity to demo some basic interactions. As a user of Spotify for 10+ years, I ultimately found this trended a bit too closely to its look and feel without even referencing it while compiling this, but continued with a dark and light mode and interactions for the purpose of this experiment.
